Dr. O. Jermaine Bego is a pastor, author, speaker, and coach dedicated to helping individuals experience spiritual transformation through mental health. As the founding pastor of The Point DMV in Washington, D.C., he leads with a commitment to faith, emotional wellness, and community impact, creating spaces where people can grow both spiritually and personally.
With over a decade of pastoral leadership, Dr. Bego blends theological insight with practical, real-world application to address the emotional and spiritual challenges many face today. He holds a Master of Divinity from The Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University and a Doctor of Ministry from The Morehouse School of Religion at the Interdenominational Theological Center.
Dr. Bego’s ministry journey began with a calling to help individuals not only grow spiritually but also experience emotional healing. Through years of pastoral leadership, community engagement, and personal development work, he developed a passion for addressing mental health within faith communities.
